Marinaparcs closely follows the developments surrounding the corona virus. We want you to be able to start your holiday with peace of mind and enjoy your stay with us. We are in contact with the entire sector, including the National Institute for Public Health and the Environment (RIVM) and the Municipal Health Service (GGD) so that we always have the correct and most up to date information at our disposal. We strictly follow their advice. The guidelines can be found on the website of the Netherlands National Institute for Public Health and the Environment(RIVM).
Below, we answer the frequently asked questions about the effects of the corona virus on your holiday.
Can I still go on holiday despite the corona virus (COVID-19)?
The Netherlands, including our company and our surroundings, have not been on lock down by the central government. Therefore, you can relax and enjoy a holiday with us. Although our accommodation is located in areas that are not subject to any particular safety risks, in accordance with RIVM guidelines, we take additional measures to protect your good health, avoid risks and unburden you. We hope you will enjoy a pleasant holiday as a result.
Cancellations and rebooking
How does Marinaparcs handle cancellations related to the coronavirus?
Stays until April 6
When you have booked a stay during the month of March, you can move it to another period. In case there is a price difference between the current period and the new one, it is recalculated. When you would like to cancel your booking, the general cancellation conditions and/or conditions of your own cancellation insurance apply. Canceling and/or rescheduling can be done by email to firstname.lastname@example.org. Due to a high call volume, our waiting times are currently a little longer than you are accustomed to.
Stays after April 6
There have not yet been any statements issued by the government which give reason for cancellation and/or rescheduling of the booking. We are carefully monitoring the developments. In case the government does issue statments that apply to the period after April 6, we will notify you.
Is it possible to rebook/cancel?
You are welcome at our accommodations. Our accommodations are located in areas where there are no particular security risks. In order to protect your good health, avoid risks and to give you peace of mind, we have taken additional measures behind the scenes. If you nevertheless wish to cancel or change your holiday due to the coronavirus, we will apply the applicable terms and conditions.
Can I cancel my stay and effect my cancellation insurance?
We would be very sorry if you were to cancel your holiday when there are no particular safety risks in the regions where our accommodation is located. If you wish to cancel your stay and would like to take out cancellation insurance, we advise you to contact your insurer in advance. The conditions differ per insurer.
Because of the corona virus we have made an adjustment to the conditions for changing bookings. From now on, it is also possible to change bookings within 28 days before departure, but only for a stay in 2020. The total amount of the booking shall remain the same or will be higher. If the modified booking becomes more expensive, you will pay the difference.
